HISTORY: On October 1, 1975 Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met for the third and final time in the Philippines. The fight was dubbed the,"Thriller In Manila." It lived up to its billing. The fight was a war. Frazier was constantly attacking, absorbing great punishment as he relentlessly came forward, but inflicting heavy damage to Ali. By the 14th round Frazier was cut and swollen and Ali seemed near exhaustion. Frazier's corner mercifully stopped their man from coming out again. Ali had won and defended his World Heavyweight Title. Ali was quoted after the fight that this was as close to death as he'd known. Presented here is a souvenir program for this famous fight.
