FULTON, FRED-JACK RENAULT ANTIQUE PHOTO (1923)

On May 12, 1923 at Yankee Stadium in New York heavyweight contenders Fred Fulton and Jack Renault met in the main event. Renault was awarded the fight in the 4th round when Fulton was disqualified by referee Jack O'Sullivan for a low blow. Offered here is an original, first generation, antique photo depicting the ending of the fight.
