HAGAN, JOE CABINET CARD (CIRCA 1904)

Joe Hagan was a Philadelphia bred heavyweight who fought from 1903 to 1908. Among the fighters he fought during his career included Peter Maher, Billy Burke, Jack Williams and Jem Roche. Offered here is an exceptionally rare original cabinet card which depicts Joe Hagen in period dress.
This is an original cabinet card done by Sommer Studio of Philadelphia and which includes their information on the base. Bold, clear image. The word "Compliments" is lightly written near the bottom, but we can not affirm this was done by Hagen. Not creased or torn. Minor corner wear. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2."
