Pete Latzo was born on August 1, 1902 in Coloraine, Pennsylvania. He defeated Mickey Walker on May 20, 1926 to win the World Welterweight Title. He fought Tommy Loughran for the World Light Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after losing to Teddy Yarosz on June 5, 1934 with a final record of 76-37-6 with 28 no decisions, 1 no contest and 25 KO's. Offered here is an original, first generation photograph of Pete Latzo and his family taken in his early years. Pete Latzo is pictured at the far right. The photograph came from his estate.

Soiling and tears to the mount which also has edge and corner wear. the photo is clear with sharp image. Chipped in lower corners. Minor soiling in top left corner.
