Alexis Arguello was born on April 19, 1952 In Managua, Nicaragua. He won the WBA Featherweight Title from Ruben Olivares on November 23, 1974. He later won the WBC Super Featherweight Title on January 28, 1978 from Alfredo Escalera. On June 20, 1981 he won the WBC Lightweight Title from Jim Watt. He won the World Lightweight Title on May 22, 1982 in a bout with Andrew Ganigan. He retired after fight Bill Costello on February 9, 1986 with a record of 80-6 with 65 KO's.Presented here is a signed photo of Arguello.
