HISTORY: James J. Corbett was born on September 1, 1866 in San Francisco, California. He won the World Heavyweight Title from John L. Sullivan on September 7, 1892. He retired after losing to Jim Jeffries on August 14, 1903 with a final record of 11-4-2 with 2 no contests and 7 KO's. Presented here is a signed and inscribed photo of James J. Corbett.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a 8 inch by 10 inch signed and inscribed photo of James J.Corbett.The photo is signed and inscribed to Bobby Winkel.The signature is bold and in black ink.There are two tack holes in each upper corner and some minor creasing on the border at the top.There is a small crease in the border on the lower right hand side.There is one tack hole on each side about 3/4 of the way down each border.The back of the photo is blank with glue residue in each corner. Signed Jim Corbett, and dated 1925.
