Pete Latzo was born on August 1, 1902 in Coloraine, Pennsylvania. He defeated Mickey Walker on May 20, 1926 to win the World Welterweight Title. He fought Tommy Loughran for the World Light Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after losing to Teddy Yarosz on June 5, 1934 with a final record of 76-37-6 with 28 no decisions, 1 no contest and 25 KO's. Presented here is an original Margate City,New Jersey Athletic Association member card signed and belonging to Pete Latzo.
This card measures 2 1/4 inches by 4 inches.The card shows handling wear to the corners and edges,no creases.The back is blang.The card has a clean bold ink signature of Latzo.There are punch holes for each quarter of the year.
