On October 21, 1932 at Chicago Stadium in Chicago, Illinois future world lightweight and welterweight champion Barney Ross fought former feathwerweight champion Bat Battalino in the main event. Ross prevailed winning a ten round unanimous decision over Battalino in this non title affair. Offered here are the two original fight contracts for this bout, one for Ross and one for Battalino which have been signed by both fighters.
These are single page fight contracts. Battalino has signed his in ink along with the representative from Chicago Stadium. Ross has signed his along with his manager and the representative from Chicago Stadium. Bold ink signatures on these typed agreements which include the purses, fight date, and date of fight. Both have center folds. Minor edge wear with minor tears with no paper loss. JSA has authenticated the Battalino contract signature which comes with their certification. Legal sized to 8 1/2" x 14."
