HISTORY: Alexis Arguello was born on April 19, 1952 in Managua, Nicaragua. He won the WBA Featherweight Title on November 23, 1974 in a bout with Ruben Olivares. On January 28, 1978 he won the WBC Super Featherweight Title from Alfredo Escalera. He retired after a February 9, 1986 bout with Bill Costello with a final record of 80-6 with 65 KO's. Alexis Arguello passed away suddenly on July 1, 2009. Offered here is a boxing glove signed by Arguello with his full name and including his ring record.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a regualtion size, right handed, red leather boxing glove with an Everlast label at the wrist. Boldly signed across the backhand in black sharpie. The glove is clean with virtually no flaws. 12 inches long.
