HISTORY: On Sunday, December 29, 1935 in Havana, Cuba rising heavyweight and future champion Joe Louis was scheduled to meet tough Isidore Gastanaga of Spain. The fight was cancelled by Joe Louis' manager John Roxborough for what he called political unrest on the island of Cuba. Perhaps Roxborough further statement was more indicative of the real reason as he noted "all reports indicate that the bout wouldn't draw enough interest to meet expenses. Offered here is a scarce, full ticket for this event. Authenticated by PSA/DNA
