Benny Leonard was born on April 7, 1896 in New York City, New York. He won the World Lightweight Title on May 28, 1917 from Freddie Welsh. He retired after losing to Jimmy McLarnin on October 7, 1932 with a final record of 180-21-6 with 6 no decisions and 69 KO's. Presented here is an autographed Benny Leonard display. It features a 1 page hand written letter on War Shipping Administration stationary, an original antique Hall Studio photo of Leonard and a Benny Leonard Topps Ringside Card.
This framed display of Benny Leonard is 14 1/2" x 18 1/2." He has boldly hand written and signed the letter in black ink. There are two horizontal creases in the letter from where it was folded and there are smaller creases along the edges. Clean signature and photos. No rips or tears. The photograph is 5" x 6" and is slightly faded. The Ringside Topps card is mounted and appears clean with no creases.
