JO Sports, Inc.
HISTORY: On September 13, 2014 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas world welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. defended his title against Marcos Maidana. This was their second meeting. The first proved difficult for Mayweather, Jr., but not this time around as he cruised to a unanimous 12 round decision. Mayweather put on a boxing master class in their rematch, cruising to a unanimous decision to retain his welterweight and junior middleweight world titles before 16,144 on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The judges had it 116-111, 116-111 and 115-112, all for Mayweather. ESPN.com had it 119-108 for Mayweather, who took much less punishment than he did the last time out, although, in a bizarre sequence, he claimed that Maidana bit his hand during the eighth round. Offered here are original souvenir gloves for this event.
