On June 9, 1967 at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angelesheavyweights Jerry Quarry and former world heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson battled in the featured bout. After ten rounds the fight was declared a draw. Patterson was down twice in the 2nd, and Quarry was down in the 7th.
