This is an original movie lobby card for the 1943 film Ladies Day which featured former heavyweight champion Max Baer. Here is the plot: Albert has trouble concentrating on his pitching form while thinking about that of his wife Velez. To insure that he doesn't mess up, the players' wives kidnap the saucy newlywed and try to keep her locked in a hotel room until the championship is over. This poses some problems, however, as Velez is tougher to keep still than a Mexican jumping bean.
This is an original movie lobby card printed on heavy staock which pictures Max Baer. Clean front and back. Bold color and print. Bold, clear image. Not creased or torn. Minor edge and corner wear. 11" x 14."
