HISTORY: On February 24, 1989 at the Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey world middleweight champion Iran Barkley defended his title against former champion Roberto Duran. Duran put Barkley on the canvas in the 11th round en route to winning a split 12 round decision and the title.
Offered here is an extremely rare on site, lobby poster from this event which has been signed by both Roberto Duran and Iran Barkley. Includes two ticket stubs to the event.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, heavy paper, on site lobby poster which names and pictures both fighters. Boldly signed by Iran Barkley and Roberto Duran in silver pen. At upper right corner two on site ticket stubs are attached. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Clean without staining. Not creased or torn. Very minor edge wear. 24" x 34 1/2." Exceptionally rare on site poster removed from the lobby of the event.
