JACKSON, PETER POLICE GAZETTE SUPPLEMENT (1898)

Peter Jackson was born on July 3, 1861 in the Danish West Indies. He fought as a heavyweight during the 1880's and 1890's and is considered by many to be the greatest fighter of this period. During his career he fought Jim Jeffries, Joe Choynski, and Jim Corbett among others. He never received a title shot. Presented here is a Police Gazette Supplement of Peter Jackson.
This Police Gazette Supplement of Peter Jackson is 10 1/2" x 15." There are three horizontal creases from where the supplement was folded. The corners are slightly soft and there is some light soiling along the edges. Small creases along the bottom edge. No rips or tears.
