Frankie Neil (born 7/25/1883, died 3/6/1970) was a scrappy boxer who carried a good punch that provided most of his wins and enabled him to capture the Bantamweight Championship of the World during his career. He defeated Harry Forbes, Clarence Forbes, Billy DeCoursey, "Fighting" Dick Hyland, Harry Tenny and "Young" Britt during his career; He also waged some long battles with Abe Attell, Owen Moran, Monte Attell, Joe Bowker, Harry Baker, Eddie Hanlon and Johnny Reagan. Offered here is an original Police Gazette Supplement which has been signed and inscribed by Frankie Neil. From the collection of Floyd "Red" Taylor.
