HISTORY: On January 21, 1975 at Royal Albert Hall in London welterweights John Stracey and Hedgemon Lewis were scheduled to fight in a welterweight title elimination bout. The fight was cancelled. Stracey won the welterweight title later in the year and defended it against Hedgemaon Lewis on March 10, 1976. Stracey stopped Lewis in 10 rounds. Offered here is an original broadside/poster for the originally scheduled bout in 1975.
