On May 2, 1953 Welterweight Champion Kid Gavilan fought Danny Womber in a non-title fight at the Onondaga County War Memorial Auditorium in Syracuse, New York. Lucky for Gavilan no title was at stake as Womber won a 10 round decision in a huge upset. Presented here is the official program to this event.
