On September 17, 1934 at the Madison Square Garden Bowl in Long Island City, New York world welterweight champion Barney Ross defended his title against Jimmy McLarnin. Ross had defeated McLarnin 4 months earlier in a very close fight. This time McLarnin reversed fortunes winning a 15 round split decision and the title. Offered here is a very rare original official program for this event.
