On August 29, 1947 at Madison Square Garden in New York welterweights Sugar Ray Robinson and Flashy Sebastian squared off in the main event. Robinson made short work of it knocking Sebastian out at 1:02 of the first round when referee Ruby Goldstein counted Sebastian out.
