HISTORY: On June 19, 1946 World Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis fought tough Billy Conn for the second time in New York. Louis had a very difficult time with Conn in their first meeting, but not this time as he stopped Conn in 8 rounds. In addition to being an important fight, this event had the added significance of being the first World Heavyweight Championship broadcast on that new medium television. NBC telecast the fight and was sponsored by Gillette Safety Razor Company. Presented here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event. Authenticated by PSA/DNA and graded VG-EX 4.
