History: On June 18,1941 Joe Louis fought Billy Conn for the Heavyweight Title at the Polo Grounds in New York.In a fight that many said Louis was losing,Louis finally caught up with Conn and Ko'd him in the 13th round. Louis was quoted, "he can run, but he can't hide." Conn, the light heavyweight champion put on a dazzling display of boxing before getting cocky and starting to exchange with the stronger, more powerful Louis. Clearly ahead on the scorecards the tactic cost Conn a victory and preserved the title for Joe Louis.
