History: On January 30, 1904 at Mechanic's Pavilion in San Francisco featherweights Kid Broad and Eddie Hanlon fought in an important divion matchup. Hanlon dominated and stopped Broad in the 8th round. Offered here is an original, first generation photo taken by the notable Dana Studios depicting both fighters squaring off in the ring before the fight.

Full description: This is an original, first generation photo with the Dana stamp in the lower right corner. Bold, clear image of fighters with some light fading and silvering on the border. Not creased or torn. Clean. Paper on back from being mounted in an album. 6 1/4" x 8 1/4."
