History: On August 18, 1958 in Los Angeles World Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson defended his title against Roy Harris. Patterson successfully defended the title he won in 1956 stopping Harris in 12 rounds. It was his third consecutive defense and fourth win in a row by knockout. Presented here is a vintage wirephoto depicting Roy Harris sparring with Howie Turner at his training camp in Arrowhead Springs, California on July 28, 1958.
