History: Joe Louis fought Jim Braddock on June 22, 1937 at Comiskey Park in Chicago for the Heavyweight Championship. Louis, down early in the fight rallied and knocked Braddock out in the 8th round to win the World Heavyweight Title. Offered here is a rare pre fight poster for the fight which advertises the train trip from New York to Chicago for the fight.

Has the original hole at top center for hanging. Minor toning from age. Minor edge and corner wear. Pencil notations at the very top. 6" x 21."
