HISTORY: On October 14, 1949 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco heavyweight champion Ezzard Charles defended his title against tough challenger Pat Valentino. In what reporters described as a great fight Charles prevailed knocking out Valentino in the 8th round. Offered here is an original, on site, full, unused ticket to this event. Authenticated by PSA/DNA and graded FR 1.5.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, on site, full, unused ticket which names and pictures both fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Stub firmly attached. Not creased or torn. Some back damage from mounting. Corner and slight surface wear. Clean. 2 3/4" x 6." Exceptionally rare as a full ticket.
