Muhammad Ali was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. He won the World Heavyweight Title from Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964. He announced his retirement in February of 1970 but was back in the ring later that October. He won the NABF Heavyweight Title On July 26, 1971 in a bout with Jimmy Ellis. He regained the World Heavyweight Title when he fought George Foreman in Zaire on October 30, 1974. He retired after losing to Trevor Berbick on December 11, 1981 with a final record of 56-5 with 37 KO's. Offered here is a water bottle used in training by Muhammad Ali at Deer Lake, PA while he was in training for his second fight with Leon Spinks in 1978. Signed in blue ink by Muhammad Ali and his assistant trainer Drew "Bundini" Brown.
This is a water bottle used by Muhammad Ali while training at his facility in Deer Lake, PA. Glass bottle covered with tape and marked ALI in bold, black marker. Signed in blue ink, "Love Muhammad Ali 19-78." Also signed in blue ink, "Peace Drew Bundini Brown." Signatures are bold. Slight soiling to the tape on bottle. 12" high. Obtained by long time Ali collector peter Morkovin and comes with his detailed letter of authenticity.
