HISTORY: Muhammad Ali was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. He won the World Heavyweight Title from Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964. He announced his retirement in February of 1970 but was back in the ring later that October. He won the NABF Heavyweight Title On July 26, 1971 in a bout with Jimmy Ellis. He regained the World Heavyweight Title when he fought George Foreman in Zaire on October 30, 1974. He retired after losing to Trevor Berbick on December 11, 1981 with a final record of 56-5 with 37 KO's. In 1978 Hilton Fine Arts, Ltd., publishers and distributors of original limited edition graphics announced four signed Muhammad Ali limited edition silkscreen editions. These were signed by Ali in Natchez, Mississippi in 1978. Numbered editions 1-500 plus proofs. Signed in pencil by Ali and published by R.H.Brown & Co.Inc. Offered here is the limited edition silkscreen entitled, Under The Sun, which has been signed by Muhammad Ali. Number 445/500.

FULL DESCRIPTION: Signed by Muhammad Ali in large, bold pencil in lower right corner. 22" x 27" cream stonehenge 100% cotton paper. No tears. Clean. Slightly dog-eared at left corners. Numbered edition 445/500. Early autographs of Muhammad Ali are scarce and growing more valuable.
