ALI, MUHAMMAD-ANTONIO INOKI JAPANESE MAGAZINE (1976)

HISTORY: On June 26, 1976 World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali fought an exhibition match with the famous Japanese wrestler Antonio Inoki. The match took place in Tokyo. After 15 rounds it was declared a draw, but Ali took severe punishment to his legs which bothered him for years following. Offered here is a very rare Japanese magazine which pictures both combatants on the cover. Both are featured inside this special magazine which is devoted about one half to boxing and one half to wrestling.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This pre fight magazine consists of 169 pages complete with photos of both combatants. Tight binding. Tape repair on back cover. Minor edge and corner wear. Not creased. Clean inside and out. All in Japanese. Rare, the only example we have seen to date. 7 1/8" x 10 1/8."
