ALI, MUHAMMAD-CLEVELAND WIRE PHOTO (1966-END OF FIGHT)

On November 14, 1966 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali defended his title against long time contender Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams. In a fight in which Ali dominated throughout Williams was completely outclassed. Many ring experts felt this may have been Ali's finest hour as a fighter. Williams was stopped in the third round. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts Williams out cold on the canvas as Ali is waved off by the referee.
