HISTORY: On October 26, 1970 at City Auditorium in Atlanta, Georgia heavyweight Muhammad Ali made his comeback after a three year enforced retirement due to his refusal to accept military service. His opponent was the capable Jerry Quarry. Ali scored a third round victory when the referee stopped the fight due to a severe cut on Quarry's face.
Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event which has been signed by LeRoy Neiman and inscribed to Robert Kennedy, Jr. From the collection of Robert Kennedy, Jr. cousin Stephen Skakel who has provided a letter of authenticity. Authenticated by JSA.
