Muhammad Ali fought George Foreman on October 30, 1974 in Kinshasa, Zaire. Given little chance, Ali knocked Foreman out in the 8th round to win the World Heavyweight Title for the second time. Ali employed a "rope-adope" strategy of covering up on the ropes and letting Foreman hit him until he tired. The strategy worked as an exhausted Foreman could not rise after being hit in the 8th round. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting Ali training for this fight at his Deer Lake, Pennsylvania training camp on August 11, 1974 which has been boldly signed by Muhammad Ali. Authenticated by JSA (James Spence).
This is an original Associated Press wire photo with their caption on the front. Bold, clear image. Boldly signed, "Muhammad Ali," in fiber tip marker. Tiny crease in upper left corner white area. No tears. Clean front and back. 8" x 10." Comes with letter of authenticity from JSA with their label on the back.
