HISTORY: Muhammad Ali was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. He won the World Heavyweight Title from Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964. He announced his retirement in February of 1970 but was back in the ring later that October. He won the NABF Heavyweight Title On July 26, 1971 in a bout with Jimmy Ellis. He regained the World Heavyweight Title when he fought George Foreman in Zaire on October 30, 1974. He retired after losing to Trevor Berbick on December 11, 1981 with a final record of 56-5 with 37 KO's. Presented here is an original The Old Capitol Club of Houston, Texas restaurant menu which has been signed by Muhammad Ali in 1967 as world heavyweight champion. JSA authenticated.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original The Old Capitol Club of Houston, Texas restaurant menu which has been signed by Muhammad Ali in 1967 as world heavyweight champion. Dated March 24, 1967, two days after Ali defeated Zora Folley. 4 pages complete. Boldly signed in ink, "To Mrs. King Ribision From Muhammad Ali World Champ" on inside page. Not creased or torn. Tight binding. Covers have some surface wear. Clean inside and out. 4" x 8." Authenticated by JSA and comes with their auction letter. Autographs of Muhammad Ali while he was champion, especially in the 1960's are quite rare.
