BACKUS, BILLY-JOSE NAPOLES I OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1970-SIGNED BY BASILIO, BACKUS & BACKUS MANAGER)

On December 3, 1970 at the War Memorial in Syracuse, New York welterweight champion Jose Napoles defended his title against local hero Billy Backus. Backus stopped Napoles in the 4th round to win the title. A bad cut over Napoles left eye forced the stoppage. Napoles was also cut over the right eye. Offered here is a rare official program to this fight which has been signed on the cover by Billy Backus, former champion Carmen Basilio and Backus manager Tony Graziano.
