BAER-CARNERA PRIZEFIGHTER & THE LADY PROMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPH

A promotional photograph for the motion picture, The Prizefighter & The Lady. This movie starred Max Baer in his first star role. He played along side Myrna Loy, Primo Carnera and Jack Dempsey. About a year after the film was released Max Baer fought Primo Carnera and defeated him to win the World Heavyweight Title. This promotional photograph pictures Baer, Carnera, Dempsey, Willard and Jeffries among other ring greats.
