HISTORY: James J. Braddock, The Cinderella Man, was born on February 11, 1909 in Omaha, Nebraska. He defeated Max Baer at Long Island City, NY on June 13, 1935 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He was an extreme underdog and earned his nickname with the win. He lost the title to Joe Louis in 1937. Offered here is a rare signed photo collage of Jimmy Braddock.

FULL DESCRIPTION: These are three original photographs of Jimmy Braddock matted and framed together. The middle photo has been inscribed and signed in ink, "To Ted Deglin my friend and a real swell fellow best wishes Jimmy Braddock 7/20/36." Signed as heavyweight champion. 7" x 8" witha very sharp image of Braddock. The other two photos show Braddock in training, jogging and signing an autograph for his fans. Both are 6" x 8." All three photos have no creases or tears. Professionally matted and framed to 12" x 24."
