HISTORY: On June 22, 1949 Ezzard Charles won the vacant NBA Heavyweight Title decisioning Jersey Joe Walcott. His first defense was against Gus Lesnevich on August 10, 1949 at Yankee Stadium in New York. Charles controlled the action and stopped Lesnevich in the seventh round. Presented here is a full, unused, official ticket to the event.
