HISTORY: Billy Conn was born on October 8, 1917 in East Liberty, Pennsylvania. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title in a bout with Melio Bettina on July 13, 1939. He fought Joe Louis twice for the World Heavyweight Title but was not victorious.
