CORBETT III, YOUNG VINTAGE SIGNED PHOTO

Young Corbett III was born on May 27, 1905 in Protenza, Campania, Italy. He won the World Welterweight Title from Jackie Fields on February 22, 1933. He retired after an exhibition match with Homer McGrew on February 11, 1942 with a final record of 123-11-17 with 33 KO's. Presented here is a signed photo.
Young Corbett III has boldly signed this 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" photo in black ink. He has inscribed it, "To My Friend Cushion Billy Moose Tassing Sincerely Young Corbett III 6/19/29." The photo has some small creases at the top of the page, in the middle and along the left edge. There is some slight soiling at the bottom of the page and on the right side of the glove. The signature is clean.
