HISTORY: Jim Corbett fought Bob Fitzsimmons on March 17, 1897 in Carson City, Nevada. Fitzsimmons knocked Corbett out in the 14th round to win the Heavyweight Championship of the World. The fight was originally scheduled for Dallas, Texas in 1895, but was postponed. Offered here is a full, unused ticket for the fight in Carson City on March 17, 1897. Authenticated by PSA/DNA as Full Authentic.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original full, unused ticket. Originally made for the Dallas venue it was used for the Carson City fight. Includes a section, row and seat number. The two stubs are firmly attached. Print remains bold. Ornate back which has some paper loss from mounting. No creases or tears. Minor edge and corner wear. Extremely rare.  2 3/4" 6 5/8."
