HISTORY: On July 23, 2016 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas WBC super lightweight champion Terence Crawford fought WBO super lightweight champion Viktor Postol in a title unification fight. Crawford won a 12 round unanimous decision. WBO champion Terence Crawford emerged ranked number one worldwide on BoxRec at 140 pounds. WBC champ Victor Postol ranked number two. Crawford dominated, and clearly won every round after the third, winning Postol's WBC title while retaining his WBO World Super Lightweight titles. Postol was down in fifth round twice. Postol also got penalized a point by referee Tony Weeks for hitting Crawford behind the head in round 11. Crawford also won the vacant Ring Magazine World Junior Welterweight title, always a noteworthy belt when held by top world champions.
