DURAN, ROBERTO-BENNY HUERTAS & KEN BUCHANAN-ISMAEL LAGUNA PRESS KIT (1971)

On September 13, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York future world champion Roberto Duran, fighting in the United States for the first time took on Benny "Bang Bang" Huertas in an important lightweight bout. Duran stopped Huertas in the very first round. Also on the show world lightweight champion Ken Buchanan won a 15 round unanimous decision over former champion Ismael Laguna. Offered here is an original press kit from this event which was distributed to the media for this event.
This is an original press kit which pictures Buchanan and Laguna on front and back covers. 21 pages complete plus covers. Slight stain on inside page, otherwise clean inside and out. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. 8 3/4" x 11 1/2."
