HISTORY: On February 22, 1933 at Seals Stadium in San Francisco Jackie Fields and Young Corbett III fought with the NBA Welterweight title at stake. After ten rounds Young Corbett III was declared the winner and champion.
On February 22, 1973 the 40th anniversary of the fight was held in San Francisco. Offered here is an illustrated announcement of that event which has been signed by both Jackie Fields and Young Corbett III. Authenticated by Beckett.
