FRAZIER, JOE-JERRY QUARRY II PRESS KIT (1974)

On Monday, June 17, 1974 at Madison Square Garden in New York former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier met an old nemesis "Irish" Jerry Quarry in the main event. As in the their first meeting Frazier prevailed stopping Quarry in the 5th round. Offered here is an original press kit which was distributed to the media prior to this fight.
This is an original, 2 pocket style press kit which is filled with information about the fight, fighters and venue. Includes 7 photographs. Tight binding. One stain on cover. Not creased, but has edge and corner wear. Clean interior. 9 1/2" x 11 1/2."
