On March 9, 1979 at Madison Square Garden in New York world super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Gomez defended his title against Nestor Jimenez in the main event. Gomez had to shed 6lbs to make weight, but went on to stop Jimenez in the 5th round. Offered here is a scarce, original, on site poster for this event.
