HANDLER, JOE PROMOTIONAL CARD

Joe Handler, born in Russia in 1878, was a professional welterweight fighter who competed between 1891 and 1905 compiling a record of 22-15-7. In his career Handler fought some of the outstanding fighters in the division including Barbados Joe Walcott, Joe Gans, Kid PMcPartland, Willie Fitzgerald, Kid Williams, and Spike Sullivan. Handler passed away on March 7, 1948. Offered here is a promotional card of Joe Handler.
This is an original promotional card of Joe Handler which pictures him in full, fight pose on the front and which has his record on the back. Printed on heavy stock. Creased. Corner wear. Minor soiling. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2." Rare, the only we have seen.
