JOHANSSON, INGEMAR SIGNED PHOTO (TRAINING FOR PATTERSON)

On March 13, 1961 at Convention Hall in Miami Beach heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson defended his title against Ingemar Johansson, the man he regained it from the year before. Patterson was down twice in the first round, but also put Johansson down once. In the sixth Patterson ended it stopping Johansson for good in defense of his crown. Offered here is a photograph of Ingemar Johansson in training for this fight which he has boldly signed. Obtained in a signing session by Jim Stinson.
