HISTORY: Jake La Motta was born on July 10, 1922 in Bronx, New York. He began his professional career on March 3, 1941. He won the World Middleweight Title on June 16, 1949 stopping Marcel Cerdan in 10 rounds. Posted career victories over Sugar Ray Robinson, Tommy Bell, Fritzie Zivic, Bob Satterfield and Laurent Dauthuille. His career mark was 83-19-4. Known as "The Bronx Bull" he will forever be remembered as the subject of the popular movie RAGING BULL. Presented here is a hand painted boxing glove which has been signed by Jake LaMotta. From the collection of Vikki LaMotta and comes with a letter of authenticity from her son.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original red leather boxing glove with hand painted image of Jake LaMotta on backhand. Gold Everlast manufacturer's label at wrist. Boldly signed in black sharpie "Jake LaMotta Raging Bull." Clean with no noticeable flaws. Left hand glove. 12 1/2" long.
