LEONARD, BENNY ANNOUNCEMENT POSTCARD (1924)

Benny Leonard was born on April 7, 1896 in New York City, New York. He won the World Lightweight Title on May 28, 1917 from Freddie Welsh. He retired after losing to Jimmy McLarnin on October 7, 1932 with a final record of 180-21-6 with 6 no decisions and 69 KO's. Presented here is an annoucement postcard from 1924.
This annoucement postcard from 1924 is 3 1/4" x 5 1/2." There is some light soiling and fading on the front. The corners are slightly soft and there are small creases in the lower corners. No rips or tears.
